Billy Gould

Billy Gould (born William David Gould, April 24, 1963) is an American musician, noted for playing bass in the band Faith No More. His playing style often involved striking the strings in a particularly aggressive fashion. "I like to say more with less notes, and using strength is one way to find expression without playing too much. There are ways to really hit the strings, where you can get a very solid, strong tone, where the bass almost sounds like it’s in pain."
