Jah Wobble

Jah Wobble (born John Joseph Wardle, 11 August 1958) became known to a wide audience as the original bass player in Public Image Ltd. Heartbeat-tempo, dub-style lines, with as super-beefy low end, have been a feature of his playing since early PiL. He also relies on flatwound strings for a strong thud and bass richness.

Well worth giving an ear to his basslines for PiL's 'Rise' and Bjork's 'Play Dead'.
