Billy Sheehan

William "Billy" Sheehan (born on March 19, 1953, in Buffalo, New York) is predominantly known as the bass player for Mr. Big. His "lead bass" playing style includes the use of chording, two-handed tapping, right-hand "three-finger picking" and controlled feedback. He heavily modified a Precision bass, adding a Gibson EB-0 neck pickup for what he referred to as "super deep low end". He affectionately refers to it as "The Wife" and it is the guitar upon which his signature Yamaha model is based. Sheehan also uses two amps to achieve his tone, one with full distortion and notch filtering to sound more guitar-like for solos, and one super-clean for the low end of the neck pickup.

His fingers are moving a bit quick...
