Thrash bass. Probably the metacarpus in his right hand making him scream like that.
Oh, and it's not necessarily in any order. Well, maybe a little bit.

Tom Araya
Tom Araya (born Tomás Enrique Araya June 6, 1961) is best known as the bassist and vocalist of the American thrash metal band Slayer. His style is quite minimalist, mostly being either the "shadow guitar" style (playing the root notes of the rhythm guitars), or bashing out simple lines on the E string, matching the drummer's exceptionally fast-paced) rhythms. He always plays with a pick. His bass is often tuned so far down that it's difficult to hear in Slayer's studio recordings.
